Amsterdam is the best place to visit during April because it's the tulip season! This trip was accompanied with 6 other crazy fun people, and guess what happens when all these people got stuck in a van for 13 hours?
We had a lousy laksa ghost story from Alvin and very lame jokes & riddles from Barry, also known as the one who can never stop talking... and not forgetting the same CD which was played continuously for like 10 times throughout the journey.
Okay I'm really lazy to write so will just post pictures..
This is our ride and can u spot the 2 extra care leh fares in this picture?
Barry reminds me of club momo, koala bear, CD & DVD seller, vietnamese vinegar and 500 kronos. (I guess only the people in the van will know why)
Rise and shine!!! We have reached Amsterdam and here's a picture of 3 very happy tourists preparing to check in to hotel :)
Basically it's a flea market which sells cheap stuff at expensive prices
GW was like a walking zombie on Day 1
Took a short break and tried Amsterdam food- Mayonaise fries
We went for the Amsterdam dungeon. I was scared half of the time but Gw loved it so much that he missioned to visit all the dungeons in other countries. I thought Seline was very funny when she created a special formation and got everyone surrounding her when we were inside. And poor Sherin got picked as the victim in one of the rooms.
There's a carnival at Dam Square, and the guys went for the booster (see the yellow thing beside the ferris wheel that turns 360 degree) right after eating KFC
I'm not daring enough to try the booster so went for this spinning thing and ended up getting all giddy
FEBO - fastfood vending machine
The guy in white T shirt was super stress because everyone's anticipating his next move. He think and think super long then reached for his cellphone and made a call.
Maybe that's his 3rd lifeline - Call a friend
We ate a super good dinner at the same chinese restaurant we went last year, remember the rooster series? FYI the restaurant is called Golden chopsticks and is located in the red light district.
It rained and everyone squeezed into this sheltered alley. Last year when we were at Amsterdam, we were caught in their so-called 5min rain and were forced to buy the cheapest umbrella from the souvenir shop. It will rain for 5min and stop for 5min and the cycle repeats itself. The funny rain makes it difficult for us to tour around with ease because you have to constantly look for shelters whenever you felt raindrops trickling down from the sky.
Tip: Do seek for a real shelter instead of leaning against a wall
Okay shall end here and start a new post for pictures taken with the windmills
