Elliot @ the Universal Studios

This boy saw the jelly beans, sprinted like the super sonic hedgehog and climbed his ass up the bench

Check out my matching colour shirt with my jellybean bro.

We bought the annual pass to the Universal Studios.
I was hesitant as I find the price kind of steep huh - $188 per adult.
A day ticket will costs $74 per adult. GW thinks it's worth it since we are always going to Sentosa, we just need to visit 3 times to breakeven.

Due to height restrictions, there are only a handful of rides that Elliot is qualified to get on.
This was the Treasure Hunt jeep ride which we queued for 45min.

The signboard says expecting mothers are requested to avoid this ride.
I was in the jeep. And it moves like a snail.
GW says if pregnant mothers cannot do this ride then they can take bus meh?

Totally not worth it unless there is NO QUEUE.
Ride ended in less than a minute.

Tsk. Can't even look slimmer when standing beside Kungfu Panda.

Sesame Street performance outside the public library.
Elliot's favourite is the cookie monster.

The Madagascar carousel. Elliot took this ride 5 times.
Bobian. Limited choices plus the queuing time was only 7 min.

Queuing up.

He's pointing at the lion and asking me to sit on it.

The indoor mini Ferris wheel after exiting the Shrek 4D show.
AIRCONDITIONED!!!

Elliot saw the cat and shrieked MAO MAO MAO!!!

Hot like mad after the Waterworld show.
And this Shrek waterbottle that Elliot chose was mad ex too.
Hope to come back again before I POP!

Staycation - Amara Sanctuary Sentosa

Back from our 3D2N staycation at Sentosa :)
This was our suite at Larkhill Terrace. The door in the back leads to a private courtyard which houses an outdoor bathtub and a daybed.

Elliot jumping on the daybed.

Elliot kiao kar LIKE A BOSS.

His new cookie monster toy from Universal Studios.

Going for a dip in the Jacuzzi tub

The swimming pool and jacuzzi tub at our doorsteps.
Can go for a dip anytime we want.

Chilling out in the Jacuzzi tub with papa

Our trusty tortoise float :)

Elliot drinks LIKE A BOSS.

Timer shot and got photo-bombed by the tortoise float.

Missing those happy days already.

See, I can float pretty well with that bump.

I love this shot of us lounging on the daybed.
My bump looks bigger from this angle.

Wanted to place scrabble letters on my belly but GW couldn't find his scrabble set at the eleventh hour.  Had to make do with these big magnetic alphabets from Elliot's stash.

Soaking in the outdoor bathtub at late night.

And this was GW's turn on the second night.
He wanted to have a drink in the picture too and that explains the Starbucks.

Week 32

Some updates on my pregnancy.

Gynae foresees that baby will probably arrive during the first week of October. I wonder how accurate will that be. Oh well. Just pray that baby is healthy and stay in there until full term.

With Elliot I feel fluttering kicks here and there. But with this #2, her kicks were so hard that it causes my belly to move and change shape. At times, there will be something bony sticking out of my tummy which I can't tell whether it's the fist/feet/elbow. It's like a miraculous moment to be able to "touch" her before she's out.

Hmm, maybe it's #2 that's why the belly is more elastic now?

Damn worried about stretchmark too. Been very diligent with the cream. So far had not acquire new ones. I had some when I was expecting Elliot. Sad. But on the bright side, they are at the sides of my hip where I could easily hide them with my underwear.

(If you can tell, I'm actually consoling myself so you should ignore that whole paragraph)

Oh, and I have sleeping problem. I cannot sleep lying flat like a starfish. I have to sleep on my sides but then my hand will cramp like mad when I sleep like that. And I wake up to pee all the time. Felt like bladder gonna explode but then just a few drops came out. I slept in any posture and clocked many hours of rest when Elliot was in my belly.

Put on a lot 11kg already. Damn stress sia.
Can't help it since my appetite is really good, I get hungry constantly and eats all the time. My gynae had advised me to TRY to eat lesser during my last consultation with him. Think he's worried that baby may get too big size and I will have problem pushing her out. Guess my license to eat like a cow has to be revoked.

Thinking back, I gained 8kg when I was expecting Elliot and I lost all that weight the moment I was discharged from the hospital. Don't even have the post-natal flab around my waist can!!! I don't know how am I going to manage this time. My only hope now is breastfeeding. Please don't fail me ar!

Can someone tell me why is my belly button not protruding? I always find those with protruding ones so super cool. I don't have it with Elliot also, maybe I was too fat or my belly button was too deep to begin with.

Here's a DIY shot taken at home.

This one is really DIY to the max cuz I did it myself with the timer like a million times when the hubby and kid were napping. Plus I was so smart to put up that white fitted sheet as the background which was so crumpled and I don't know what to do with those creases at the back now.

So regret but argh, don't care.. I'm not gonna re-take that picture anyway.

Looking forward to this week as the hubby is on leave :) And we are going for a short staycation at Sentosa. Yipee!

13 August: Aunty Michelle's Shanghai Tan birthday bash

Yeah we were invited to another themed birthday party!!!

Been very excited and looking forward to Aunty Michelle's birthday celebration at NSRCC bungalow since months ago and she wanted a Shanghai Tan theme to go with it. But I cannot fit into any cheongsam or anything Shanghai tan with my whale figure now. Sigh.

Poor Cass must have killed many brain cells to come up with the decorations. You must see the DIY gramophone she made from scratch, I was dumbfounded when I saw it and thought she bought it from somewhere. They also prepared props like fans, feathers and machine guns for everyone to use during photo taking. It was a super fun night lah.

P/S: All photos were stolen from Ah Bee's FB.

We arrived early for the pool and water play!

Elliot loves just waddling around in the water.

Having fun!

Aunty Michelle was so high from targeting us with the water guns.
I think we were in the water for super long. 1-2 hours??
Not sure... I just know I was super hungry after that.

Thank you for BBQ-ing for us :)

Family shot after washing up.

Pinching food here and there while waiting for the BBQ food!!
Lenz is having a giant butter prawn prepared by Aunty Jean.
Super yummy and I've got the recipe from her already.

Guests start to arrive and everyone got into the Shanghai Tan mood...
Here's a picture of our birthday girl, Aunty Michelle in her Shanghai Tan dressing.
CHIO LAH.

I super love this picture because I thought I don't look pregnant here!
Thanks to the fan (for hiding the bump), feather (for elongation) and genius photographer (Ah Bee).
Anyway, was caught tiptoeing. Hah!

More pretty cheongsam ladies.

Shanghai Tan couple. Very ONZ right.
Aeed has matching cheongsam and fan!

My sis and her bf with Aunty Michelle.

The Lims.
Edwin do look like a rich man from that era huh?

Our family picture with Elliot don't know kua simi.

OK I know. Very lame pose.
Looking at all wrong directions somemore.

HELLO!! This is the gramophone I'm talking about earlier.
Damn zai right. She even made a black record to "play" on the gramophone can!
All the lanterns hanging up there and backdrop were hand painted by her too.

DENG DENG DENG DENG!!!
Group picture with the ladies...

And the MEN!

Last but not least, the Goh family photo and a lucky little boy who gets to steal the limelight at everyone's birthday celebration. Happy birthday to you, Ah Siang gugu :)
Wishing you good health and happiness always.
