Didn't see Cristiano Ronaldo in Portugal

HELLO!

A very happy lunar new year to whoever's (if any) reading my blog right now. It's been a challenging year for us, especially with the addition of Mr Fatty, we learnt to cherish sleep more .Thank God for all the goodness he has given and all the lovely people he handpicked to surround us!

Here's some pictures from our Lisbon trip as promised in my previous post.
I love Lisbon to the max!! The perfect weather, the friendliest people, the fresh and affordable seafood, the yummy pastries, the shopping centre which operates till 12 midnight... and the list goes on.

Ahhhh... What a hidden gem!

It was a 4 hour flight from CPH to LIS.
And this is fatty's nua-ing on the bed right after we checked in to the hotel.
Watching TV and enjoying life, just lacking someone to feed him grapes hor!

After a good night rest, we went to visit the famous Oceanarium - one of the largest in Europe.
Entrance costs 13 euros + 3 euros if you wanna see sea turtles.

Their mascot! A cute diver boy.

GW doing a tourist picture.

Our baby is ready to explore the underwater world!

Superb weather 17 degrees, what more can I ask?
Tsk, my face machiam just woke up sia.
Haizz what to do, gotta wake up so early every day to catch the hotel's breakfast.. Sleepy!!!

Seems like Elliot is more interested in his sock

At the penguins territory.
Elliot still fiddling with his feet

Papa checking out the sea otters while Elliot is getting boring.
"Papa, why you see yourself then turn me back facing them, so selfish!!!"

But the sea otters are really very very cute!!!

They are just idling and floating around like a piece of wood.

Love this setup!
Feels like we had adventured into a jungle

GW took like 19843286401 shots of the fishes in the aquarium.
Every fish also want to shoot, same fish also can take so many times.
Totally waste my energy to delete them like mad.

Colourful corals

Elliot and the shark

The temporary exhibit is showcasing sea turtles.
Elliot got very cranky by this time, think he wanna koon liao.

Sea turtle spotted!!
We spent like almost 5 hours in the Oceanarium, there is just so much to see.
Worthed every of our 16 euros :)

Dinner at El Corte Ingles.
Had a sudden craving for spaghetti!

The fish lover.

Day 2.
Needless to say, beautiful weather.

GW loves the view from here.

Camera really don't love me...
Stupid wind make my hair look like 潘美辰

The problem with family picture when we don't have a tripod stand.

Love his smile!

Lisbon is full of hills and slopes.
Not a good sign especially when you have to "transport" a baby manually.

No tripod stand, everything must zipai.

Up to St George castle

Mr Moustachio

Drove to Rossio Square for lunch.
His grilled dory fish

Randomly chose this custard dessert and it's super delish!

Portugese egg tart. We eat them every day!!!

Day 3. Trip to Sintra.
Quinta da Regaleira. 6 euros each to enter.
Basically, it's a summer residence built by some very wealthy family and got some very famous artists to design their property. Really is rich until duno how to spend their money.
The one behind GW is the mansion they lived in.

They have their own chapel right outside their mansion.

The chapel

The hunting room in the mansion.
Check out the monkey hanging at the fireplace.

GW goofing around with the piano in the Renaissance Hall.
I was laughing like mad when he did this.
If you are wondering what's he doing, then you are not a true Stephen Chow fan.

Leaving the mansion to explore the other parts of the garden.
The blue skies and beautiful weather makes people go crazy.

The Regaleira tower.

There's a waterfall behind me but GW didn't manage to capture it from this angle.
Quinta la Regaleira is a cool place with many caves and tunnels linking to one another.
There's one right ahead of me, a pity we didn't have a flashlight cuz it's totally pitch black in there.

Fount of Abundance

The Guardian's gate. One more underground tunnel behind this gate that links to the bottom of a well!!!
GW was so sad that he couldn't explore t he caves...
Definitely one of the biggest regret during this trip.

And this is the well. Think it's called Initiatic Well.
Spiral stairways to get to the bottom.

GW walking down the steps and after I took this photo, I asked him to get to the bottom and I shall snap a picture for him from the top. His eyes stare big big at me....
"You siao arh! Go down then later must climb up so many steps!"

The Labyrinthic Grotto.

The stray dog which appeared from nowhere and followed us for quite some time.

Self taken family picture at the Terrace of the gods.

One last shot of the mansion before exiting

Will be back to explore the caves if we have the chance to go to Lisbon again

The tower of Belem

The picture from here onwards were taken using GW's nokia phone!
Yes, our camera battery went dead already...

Need to pay money togo inside so just snap some photos of the exterior.

GW and the Belem Tower..
Okay we are leaving for some outlet shopping liao!

Crossing Ponte Vasco da Gama
We are on our way to Freeport for some shopping!

Must eat before we chiong shopping

It was a Thursday afternoon, the whole place super empty .

Hmm, where shall we shop next?

Time to go home!!!
