Can you tell me how to get to sesame street?

My house is so colourful with all these sesame street stuff hanging around.
Almost all ideas come from the Web.

Here's a quick preview of what we have accomplished:

1. Saw the pom poms on Pinterest and immediately knew we must have them for the party. Conveniently delegated the task to my sister who willingly took it up. Thank you sis, you did a wonderful job! Love them :) hee

2. Leah Street signage. Quick and easy. Made from yellow and green felt from daiso $2. And drew the letterings out of A4 white printing paper. Yes, I'm so lazy to even turn on the computer and print out decent letterings.

3. Sesame street buntings. Googled some sesame faces and print them out on coloured paper and string them.

4. Sesame street scene setter. Bought from the party shop at raffles city. $16.90

5. Sesame street character faces. Drew them on mahjong paper. Paint and cut. Tadah! Save $$$.

6. Visors are made out of foam paper and elastic bands. These are made to replace the usual party hats. Made 5... and getting very lazy... Elliot was asking me why is Bert looking so sad. Hmm, maybe I should redo his mouth? (But很懒惰leh 好想睡觉)

We are going to have a little snack corner so I need to think about the layout for the table. Not going to be those kind of professional looking candy buffet setup, I'm not that good lah. Hahahahha!!!

Leah is 11 months old

Apart from the usual dadada tatata, Leah can say mama, papa and she loves making a loud curious OOHHHH all the time. She can wave goodbye, clap her hands, put her fingers into her mouth and say "arhm".

She isn't walking yet but we still have time. (Elliot started walking on the day he turned 16 months) She "push-walks" in the house with the help of the bumbo and stool, and she loves to throw my shoes out of the house through the main gate.

We will be celebrating her 1st birthday in a month's time and have not decided on her cake yet. Still sourcing around, most probably non fondant. Thought it will be cute to prepare a smash cake for her too :) but no promises. My DIY projects are not looking very well maybe because I'm so good at procrastinating.

Looking on the bright side, I'm happy to announce the invitation card is ready!
*checks it off my super long to-do list.

Yup I know I ought to make things work like now but let me go play with Leah for a little while.

Gave her a quick haircut and GW thinks she looks like a cute little 小狗.

Went for our first studio photoshoot :)

It was during the June Holidays. We were browsing through the super crowded Baby Expo Fair and there's this photo studio booth that caught my eye. I've always wanted to have our family portraits captured by a professional for future keepsake (the kids are really growing up too fast!) so we went ahead and signed up a package with them.

We decided to have the shoot done just before Leah's first birthday and planned our outfits as best as possible, to her birthday theme - Sesame Street! Leah was dressed up like Abby Cadabby with the fairy wings and her magic wand while the rest of us just wore Sesame Street Tees.

It wasn't a easy task to get nice photos of both kids in the same frame. I've emptied all my tricks trying to make Leah laugh but she's just feeling meh throughout the session. Bobian, the show has to go on.

Here's our chosen pictures from the Face Studio, taken on 11 September 2014.
