LEGO OVERDOSE

Legoland = Kids paradise. (we are old kids)
Here's the website link just in case you are interested.
"L" is for Legoland ok!!!

Tourist posing with another tourist.
But Sharon you still lose to him leh, he has more cameras than you!

Totally famished after the long drive and decided to settle for lunch first.
GW acting silly with the toothpick holder.

Food is expensive in Legoland.
My sister offered to treat us lunch.
We ordered a jamaican pizza, salmon pasta and beef pasta.
Total damage was $100+ but they came in huge portions so still can close one eye and not curse them too fiercely.

The pizza

GW wanted a picture with this huge-ass drink I'm sharing with my sister

Elliot gulping his papa's organic blackcurrant juice

Elliot: Wah the adult's drinks all taste so shiok one arh!

Lego table in the restaurant

Elliot KO-ed in his stroller after lunch and we decided to explorethe Miniland.
Super amazed by the things they built with lego bricks.
GW saw this duck from afar and went " Wah, the lego duck looks so real!!!"
It's a REAL duck lor.

Choo Choo.. Train is coming!!!
I'm like a big suakoo and snapped tons and tons of photos in the Miniland, too many to post in my blog so I just select a few which I liked to share here.

The bridge could actually open up by its own and let the ship pass.

I love taking close up of  lego characters and give them imaginery dialogues.

Alfresco dining

Let's do the midsummer dance

They even have the Kennedy Space Center’s NASA Rocket Garden lor!
Somemore got smoke coming out from rocket when blasting off.

The habour at Copenhagen, Nyhavn.

A380!

Amsterdam in lego!

Lego trashbin

No budget to stay in Legoland hotel.
Check in to our hotel room - Svanen hotel.
Our room number 111.

It's a junior suite for 4 pax with a spa bath tub

Elliot don't like....

Papa so happy with his legoman keychains

Then it's back to Legoland.
Pirateland!

Legoland closes at 8pm but the rides only operate til 6pm.
We got gancheong and began cheonging all the rides to make the ticket worth.

Everything made with lego ok, including the big skull head on the top.

This pirate boat is quite fun cuz you can shoot water out from your canon at other boats as well as the visitors nearby.

The legotrain ride!

Group zipai but my skill not good enough.

Reeady to set off!
Train operator helped us with a group photo.

Dangerous act - Stick out camera out of the train and take photo.
But Elliot was admiring a angmoh girl.

One more with papa.

Cute ride- The safari jeep
Elliot took this ride twice cuz I wanted to give it a go too.
He makes so much noise (googoo and gagas) when the jeep drove pass all the lego animals.

The giraffes in the safari

And ostriches.

Next up- The Goldmine train

I was sitting in the carriage facing the opposite direction.
Wrong move. Motion sickness kicked in the middle of the train ride!

Duplo Plane. GW chose the green plane!
Elliot happily sucking his fingers throughout the ride.

On the way to Adventure land for the trilling rides and GW asked me to take this pig picture.

The llama squirted water at the aligator when he tried to attack the poor stranded legoman.

Help! Eaten by shark!!!

Elliot in the treasure chest!
So happy arh!!!

My sister managed to make him smile until cannot see eyes.
Quickly snap before it's gone!!!

King's ice cream, anyone?

Inside the Legoshop.
GW is building his own legoman. You get to choose the hairstyle/clothes/accessories for your legoman.
3 legoman costs 59.95DKK but it's only 99DKK if you build 6 of them.

And they can look something like this.

Lego backpack!
But Elliot doesn't need it yet.
Yeah, we are like the last few visitors who left Legoland at 8pm.
Must fully utilise the ticket mah!

Reached hotel. Check with the hotel reception for the nearest fastfood chain and she told us need to drive 30minutes of Billund. SIAN! It's been a tiring day already, don't wanna spend 1 hour travelling for food.
And we ate at the restaurant in the hotel.
Restaurant No. 8

Flipped open the menu and had a shock of our lives - EXPENSIVE LIKE MAD.
The $$$ totally caught us off guard.

But the waiter already set the table nice nice for us liao, then not very nice to just walk away right.

Plain water costs 59DKK. You know why so expensive?
Because the water was collected by a naked man (see the print on the bottle)
Just kidding.

The food is so expensive until it came with a complimentary appetizer.
Just a few pieces of bacon, a radish and some edible soil.

My baked salmon.

His bacon pasta 185DKK (cheapest maincourse on the menu)

My sister ordered schnitzel and it came with so many so many peas!!!
See already very full liao, no need to eat.

I was totally underdressed with a tshirt.
Thought can just grab a burger or what, have a quick bath then zonk out in bed.
Didn't know it's a fine dining place.

Elliot already had his dinner in the room before we came down.
Happy baby!

Back in the hotel room with all his nonsense...

Next day, we drove out of Billund and head to Copenhagen.
We had KFC for lunch at Field's shopping mall!
Elliot eats the bread from my zinger burger.

King prawn ramen

Not authentic at all.
Taste like maggi mee soup and the noodles they use is also wrong.

GW's sushi.

We didn't bring the slow cooker with us for this trip.
Elliot eats baby bottled food, fruits and also a little of whatever we were having.

Shopping time and Elliot started nodding away in his stroller.
He dropped the KFC flag a few seconds after this shot.
Totally beat.

P/S: Driving to Stockholm tomorrow for a short getaway! YAY, I wanna eat at Pong's restaurant!!!
