Day 3: Goodbye Batam!

This morning's situation.
I was contemplating to eat clean for breakfast today but succumbed to these sinful gado gado and mee soto. Oh boy, they sure were delicious. I even helped myself to a huge serving  of tempe!

Checked out from our wonderful hotel and cabbed to Megamall for lunch.

Window seats to enjoy the seaview

Ox tail soup and Chicken satay.

Striked off Ayam Penyet from my To-Eat list.

Another hour before we can board the ferry. Killing time and nua-ing at a cafe.

Highly recommend you guys to try the Ubi Velvet cake from Smith cakes when you're in Batam. Not the cheapest around, averaging about $4 per slice but definitely worth the calories. Can't wait to go home!

Day 2: Batam R&R

Woke up for the buffet breakfast this morning.
Salivating at these kueh kueh!

Mad love this hot tub jacuzzi.

Gym time!

Had the whole gym to myself.
Ran the treadmill, followed by 30min HITT workout and some weight lifting.
Feeling so accomplished today.

It was raining and GW never like massages, hence I opted for the in-house aromatherapy Balinese massage.

$35sgd nett for 90min.
The foot massage my masseuse gave me was meh, but I had to give her credit for the excellent pressure to my back and neck .
Ginger tea was served after the massage.

Nagoya Hill Shopping Centre everyday.

Happy with my juice Alpokat [avocado shake]

Another great meal.
Miss the tahu tempe already.

Ikan Steam

The only thing I bought during my Batam trip was this overpriced hexagon glasses.

Found a nice cafe selling beautiful cakes and pastries.

Pricey fancy cakes.

Iced Yuzu tea

My hexagon glasses cute or not?

Day 1: Welcome to Batam!

Waiting to depart at Harbourfront ferry terminal. We are 45min ferry ride away from our short couple getaway to Batam!

Our first meal was at A&W, Mega mall.
No queue at all!
Explored the mall abit before we cabbed to our hotel.

Our room.
Very chioooooooo!!!

Took out the tripod stand for some couple shots.

有没有很 vogue?

Went for a dip in the Jacuzzi pool and realised the water is warm. Woohoo!

Cheap and nice dinner at Nagoya Hill Mall.
Salted egg yolk soft shell crab
Black pepper beef slices
Petai Udang

Coffee, doughnut and dessert at J.CO

Starting my eat fat fat project.
Having my red velvet doughnut.

Nagoya mall is like a huge version of Pratunam mall.

Watched an Indon horror movie Kuntilanak 2.
