I wonder if I will miss being pregnant

My 7th visit to the midwife.

The checkup everything chop chop currypok all ended within 15minutes.
She gave me another appointment during my week 41 but she's confident she won't see me again. I hope so too but there's no signs of labour yet leh. There's one time I thought I was having contractions but it went away after I pungsai. *roll eyes*

Updates from the checkup:
1) gained 2kg, adding my total weight gain to 8kg.
2) check blood pressure (normal)
3) check iron level (good)
4) baby's heartbeat was 148bpm
4) length from pelvic to top of uterus increased 2cm to 33cm
5) baby's position: head down and position is fixed liao
6) baby's weight: midwife estimated my baby is around 3kg

Bobian leh, I tried my best to stick out my tummy as far as possible liao.

My mother-in-law is in town!

I was shocked to find out she packed only 5 tops and 3 bottoms for her 3 months stay in Sweden.

Power tioh boh?

The rest of the baggage space was use to contain baby stuff, confinement tonics and some other stuff which you can never imagine (will reveal at next picture) and also a big big thank you for the advance gifts and angpows from our relatives... We appreciate your generous gesture!

The hectic days are finally over

Hello everyone, I haven't been updating my blog for quite some time... It's not because I went to seh kia okay, we just had a lot going on for the past 2 weeks.

14 April - Went to collect keys and activate electricity for new apartment
15 April - Made multiple trips sending as many small items as possible to new apartment
16 April - Fetched my MIL from CPH airport. Yeah she's here finally! Continue to send small items at night.
17 April - The guys came to help us move the big furniture. We are no longer Polhemsgatanians now.
18 to 21 April - Unpack like mad at new place
22 to 25 April - Clean like mad at old place
26 April - Inspection day. We damaged the kitchen tiles while defrosting the fridge. $$$ fly away!!
27 April - My week 38 appointment with midwife

We had ample time to move & unpack as well as the long Easter weekend to clean up the old place for inspection. And of course we were extremely thankful that Elliot didn't pop out in the midst of everything! Heh, but now that everything is over, please come out soon cuz I'm getting a little impatient to meet you already!

Rabbits don't play when it's 10 degrees outside

I feel fat. I miss jogging.

Our Saturday started with Malmo bus grocery shopping followed by lunch at Asian Garden :)

The Mongolian teppanyaki buffet is available on Fridays (dinner only) and Saturdays, and it costs 149kr .
Comes with a serving of Peking soup and Goreng Pisang. I tried their "Pineapple duck". Hmm, it looks and tastes like sweet and sour pork lor. Came in a HUGE portion and I'm kinda forcing myself to finish it.

So expensive. I rather sit on the floor lor.

Will bring xiaohuamao out for some run tomorrow!!!

Didn't expect the pram to reach us so quickly.

The guy got all excited and began fixing the wheels to the chassis the moment he got home.

Saturday @ Malmo

Drove to Malmo centrum during the weekend with the intention to buy our dream pram. We saw a shop advertising a good deal for Brio Sing on blocket and they have the colour I wanted! But when we got there, they told us the last one was sold yesterday. Wah piang got so jun or not.

But we managed to eat pizzahut as planned.

GW is crazy over their scampi pizza.

And since our buy pram mission fail, we can't strike it off our checklist yet. Boohoo! Gotta find alternative ways to get the pram liao. In the end we ordered it from another online store and it should arrive at our doorsteps in another 3-5 working days. Didn't really like the idea of buying a pram online cuz it's very troublesome to return it when there's a fault/problem with it. But this time round, we really got no other choice since we already set our eyes on Brio Sing and won't settle for other models.

In week 35 liao. Seems like there's alot to accomplish and not enough time.
Need to move house, need to prepare for inspection, need to pack my hospital bag etc. I keep having the feeling that I'm missing some baby stuff and the best part is I can't figure out what. I feel so disorganised.

Maybe I should make a new to-do-list!!!

Celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary

Hello! We just went for our belated anniversary dinner celebration at __________________ .
No prize for guessing the correct answer.

Don't know what to eat.
In the end we took the same three course set dinner but chose a different main dish for variety :)

The appetizer is super yummy, taste like sweet sour prawns.

Dessert so-so only cuz the ice cream was melting halfway when it was served to us.

My grilled salmon was served on a wooden hot plate. Cool right.

And in case you are wondering what's the yellow thingy, it's mashed potato.

How i wish I was having salmon sashimi. *in my dreams*
