Day 3: Loving Saigon!

Another day with perfect weather!
My tassel bag from my night market shopping yesterday.

Saigon Post Office
Selfie stick day.

An accidental shot with selfie stick.

In a nutshell, Vietnam was once colonised by the French and this post office was designed by the same guy who did the Eiffel tower in Paris.

A little detour to the souvenir shop to pick out some postcards and stamps.

The oldest and biggest Post Office in HCMC.

Yeah, we are writing to our kids.

Mailing them out!!!

Notre Dame Cathedral

Touristy touristy...

Had our hats on and ready to party!!!

Wandered off into book street, which is located just next to the post office. A nice, quiet street closed to traffic with only book stores and cafes.

In order to get "pretend to stroll" pictures, I had to walked this street umpteen times and received many stares from the security guard nearby. Hahahahh!!!

Now it's his turn to take a walking picture.

胡巴 riding a bus in Vietnam

Getting hungry and we need to find lunch.

Lusine Cafe. So pretty!

Toilet also very chio.

He had pull pork sandwich

Their Banh mi (baguette) is delicious.
Love that crust!!!

Resting with coffee at Paris Baguette cafe after shopping.

Our fancy dinner at Chanh Bistro

It's a rooftop restaurant in a building opposite Saigon Skydeck.

Lovely ambience with wonderful service crew, and we had the beat seats in the house!!

Our starters served.
Beef carpaccio and scallops.

Their food is soooo amazing!!

Pan-fried duck breast, sauteed potatoes & beetroot puree

His rare beef steak was cooked to perfection.

Beautiful night view

Tiramisu & Creme Brulee for desserts.
The most pricey meal we had in HCMC but definitely worth every cent!
