Herring party night

Today's a swedish public holiday and as expected all the shops were closed. Since there isn't much things to do, we spent the day like the swedes: HERRING FISHING! And this time we did bring something back and are excited to have herring dinner tonight.

The aunty who marinaded the fish. We added alot of stuff to the marinade, we just throw in whatever we think will go well with the fish. (No kidding) There's curry powder, chilli powder, corn flour, tumeric powder, salt, pepper, maggie mee seasoning, sesame oil and sugar.


Ready for deep fry and we are going to do it at Alvin's place so we don't have to clean up after that. HAHAHAHA!!!

 


Ready to be served. The herrings were deep fried till crispy and can be eaten as a whole. (Forgot to bring my camera to alvin's place so used the camera phone)


Remarks: We are leaving for Gothenburg tomorrow morning for SHOPPING!!!
