Ready to be out and about
Brekkie at L'usine, Dong Khoi outlet.
Good morning Vietnam!
Risked our lives crossing the crazy roads of HCMC. At the beautiful Opera House to get tickets for tomorrow's show!
Took a cab to check out the FITO Museum.
It's the Musuem of Traditional Vietnamese Pharmacy.
Here's the link if you're interested!
The building itself is very impressive, it's made of wooden carved details.
After we were done with the Musuem, we spent our lazy afternoon at Partea Tea Room.
It's located on the 4th level of cafe apartment.
So many kinds of tea leaves.
Spoilt for choices.
Went for their best seller- Peach and Mango tea
Choosing our cup teas
So pretty!
Ordered their 3 tier set with a pot of tea for two, it's about 24sgd.
Went back to hotel for a shower and some rest before we hunt for dinner.
Japanese dinner!
I like that our hotel was located along Little Toyko, and has a stretch of Japanese restaurants right at our doorsteps.
When you had too much wasabi.
Cong Cafe.
The interior was so old school, I like!
He had Vietnamese Americano and I tried their Orange and Cinnamon tea as recommended by the waitress.
Chilling while waiting for our movie to start. We watched a Vietnamese action movie, Hai Phuong and it was really good! Ended our Day 2 with Saigon Bier and HBO at our hotel room.
