9 August: Happy birthday to my BIL!

Elliot loves birthdays. It makes him happy :)

He claps and sings to the birthday song tune whenever he sees a birthday celebration on TV, in books and magazines. And he loves sticking candles (upside down) in the cake too.

Happy 48th birthday Singapore!

His latest craze - SpongeBob and Patrick.

Is Elliot ready for floor ball?

GW's favourite champion floor ball stick broke and he was super sad as he can never get the same replacement in Singapore. We went to a shop house near Kallang Leisure Park selling floor ball equipment. Their floor ball sticks are more costly than in Sweden. Elliot tagged along and he really made himself at home by sorting out the balls to their different colours while GW shopped in his "heaven".

 

 

The big kid and small kid had a little floor ball tournament when we got home.

 

 

Papa kept complaining when he had to get the trapped ball out of the sofa.

He was intending to get rid of the dining table too, for extra space during the game.

Too hard core already, I had to intervene and stop his "extreme times call for extreme measures" theory.

 

He doesn't know how to play it the proper way, he just enjoys messing around with the stick.

He gets a sense of satisfaction and laughs heartily whenever he managed to sweep the ball.

 

 Elliot is hooked to the game and wants GW to play it with him everyday.

The father is super tempted to get his son a kid's size floor ball stick now.

Eat haoliao day

GW brought us for seafood lunch at East Coast.

I don't know what's the name of the restaurant, it's the one with the big lobster neon signboard along the East Coast park. Didn't take much pictures of all the food... Lousy phone camera quality anyway.

 

 

Could hardly get a good picture with Elliot as he was moving non stop.

My MIL managed to squeeze in some time to have lunch together before she goes to work.
