Ok.. it's been a long time since the last update... many fun stuff been happening but just too lazy to get them all blogged.

We went golfing like 2 saturdays ago with some of Gw's colleagues. Well, it was my first time doing this whole golf thingy, but it shouldn't be difficult right... just like on TV, the common script of the actor at a golf range scene goes like this: "Open your legs to align with your shoulders, relax then swing the club blah blah blah..."

But seriously, it ain't easy at all!!! I looked kinda stupid when I swing the club with my cow strength and hit nothing but the wind. But 1 good thing about golfing in sweden... the weather is so damn good!!!

When we went to the range (place where people practise shooting), it doesn't look like those I've seen on TV shows where you do it at a high level with shelter and everything. It is all open concept meaning when you malu yourself, everyone can see.

Talking about animals, there is a poodle with Monchitchit hair in the nearby golf shop. So cute right!

6 june - sweden's national day!

it was a public holiday so we went to visit the marine museum with lua & kersin. The person selling the entrance tickets asked if we were students and we happily said no. And after that we realised... damn!!! we need to forked out only half the price if we had faked as students.

if i am not wrong, sweden is famous for submarines and this is their first one.

This is exactly the same diving mask from that movie "men of honour". I was very gandong and cried when cuba took the 12 steps in his full diver suit. And digress abit, it's the second movie we watched when we were dating and was like 8 years ago???

we came across this shelf which displays sailor hats from different countries... quite impressive got china, korea, thailand etc. But duno why Singapore one is a ball cap leh (see last row, 2nd and 3rd)

I went to my blog and the first thing that struck me was... who turned on the lights arh? ok blahhhh.......... that sounds lame. Well, Sherin helped to edit the lighting of my blog banner picture. Weeeeee........... Appreciated :D

Gw was away so I was alone in this house for the past few nights. When I was struggling to get to sleep at 2am. I heard some noises like click click click then hmm hmm hmm coming from the living room. I covered myself in blankets and pretend it was just me hallucinating. Damn scared sia. I'm not those crazy people in horror shows who got up in the middle of the night to check it out. And the nights after that, I slept with all lights and music on. HAHAHA!!!

Some updates: We had some gathering and potluck at Yau Chong's place last Saturday. Loads of goodies, and I love the roasted pork and sambal prawn....Yum yum yum yummy!!!!

i didn't know i can make chicken rice!

I use only chicken leg because i hate the breast meat. So dry and tough and hard to swallow.

And now the chicken in the limelight. Gw ate it and gave thumbs up, my first attempt and he say can fight with the Katong chicken rice already ok!

Last but not least, I want to give credits to recipezaar.com because they make miracles like "Cindy can cook chicken rice". I should start a chicken rice business here.

my my my my my apartment

ok yingchieh, so I'm finally going to post some pictures of my apartment. Like I told u before it's not fully done yet, however the basic stuff are up...

So here we go:

The is our front door and hallway, when we enter there are some racks and hooks on the left to hang jackets and stuff. That time when at ikea we forgot to buy shoe rack, so we temporary store our shoes on these racks until we get a cheap decent one.

Our dogs say welcome everytime we stepped in!

After the hallway, we will see the toilet sign... which obviously means toilet. A right turn will bring us to the living room

We have to put up blinds as the light can be glaring during sunset, behind the blinds is our mini garden which we have not work on it at all yet. When we have time, we will place some plants and flowers on the window pane to add a cosy touch to this room.

1 side of the wall was painted red by the previous occupant so we just have to deal with it. All furnitures are bought from Sweden Ikea, and FYI the same piece here costs more than Singapore Ikea. We are planning to get a GREEN carpet for this area and also if we get to travel around Europe, we may put up our travel pictures on the red wall.

Ok, this useless piece of tiger rug was bought by GW, don't understand why he would fancy this piece of rag. Very chor teng leh... We didn't buy any dinning table so this black coffee table is also where we have our meals.

Toilet, like I said before blue on white is kinda weird

Kitchen! The place where i concoct poison prepare meals and try out new recipes. The cabinets, oven and fridge are furnished by the landlord.

Check out the place we store our precious Songhe rice!!!!! Very precious... Must ration.

And also Yeo's pkt drinks, maggie mee, Milo and can fruits... We eat them when we miss Singapore (basically, we eat them everyday and is depleting very quickly) GW say we need to save 1 pkt of yeo's to celebrate 2009 chinese new year. How pathetic....


End of tour. Will update my garden if we ever work on it...

gw make sushi

We went to several supermarkets to shop for sushi ingredients and realise the japanese stuff like wasabi, sushi rice, rice vinegar are under the same brand - The BLUE DRAGON. Dunno this dragon is come from where one, very expensive leh. Seaweed was bought from the Malmo bus :)
