13 August: Aunty Michelle's Shanghai Tan birthday bash

Yeah we were invited to another themed birthday party!!!

Been very excited and looking forward to Aunty Michelle's birthday celebration at NSRCC bungalow since months ago and she wanted a Shanghai Tan theme to go with it. But I cannot fit into any cheongsam or anything Shanghai tan with my whale figure now. Sigh.

Poor Cass must have killed many brain cells to come up with the decorations. You must see the DIY gramophone she made from scratch, I was dumbfounded when I saw it and thought she bought it from somewhere. They also prepared props like fans, feathers and machine guns for everyone to use during photo taking. It was a super fun night lah.

P/S: All photos were stolen from Ah Bee's FB.

We arrived early for the pool and water play!

Elliot loves just waddling around in the water.

Having fun!

Aunty Michelle was so high from targeting us with the water guns.
I think we were in the water for super long. 1-2 hours??
Not sure... I just know I was super hungry after that.

Thank you for BBQ-ing for us :)

Family shot after washing up.

Pinching food here and there while waiting for the BBQ food!!
Lenz is having a giant butter prawn prepared by Aunty Jean.
Super yummy and I've got the recipe from her already.

Guests start to arrive and everyone got into the Shanghai Tan mood...
Here's a picture of our birthday girl, Aunty Michelle in her Shanghai Tan dressing.
CHIO LAH.

I super love this picture because I thought I don't look pregnant here!
Thanks to the fan (for hiding the bump), feather (for elongation) and genius photographer (Ah Bee).
Anyway, was caught tiptoeing. Hah!

More pretty cheongsam ladies.

OK I know. Very lame pose.
Looking at all wrong directions somemore.

HELLO!! This is the gramophone I'm talking about earlier.
Damn zai right. She even made a black record to "play" on the gramophone can!
All the lanterns hanging up there and backdrop were hand painted by her too.

DENG DENG DENG DENG!!!
Group picture with the ladies...

And the MEN!

Last but not least, the Goh family photo and a lucky little boy who gets to steal the limelight at everyone's birthday celebration. Happy birthday to you, Ah Siang gugu :)
Wishing you good health and happiness always.

Having Sakura buffet at Downtown east.
Unlimited supply of SALMON!!! ohm nom nom...

Catching his favourite character appearance at City Square Mall.
We were 10min late for the show due to the traffic.
He was hysterical and went WOOOAAHHHHH (x infinity) when he heard Barney's song playing at the atrium upon exiting the lift. The little things that makes him happy :)

Yes, his Barney and Friends.
Tons of people there!

This was Jack's Place at United Square.

We bought him a little present from Toys R Us while he was napping in his stroller.
Woke up and was so pleased with his cars.
Check out that fat and haolian face.

He will never have enough cars.

The love for durian runs in the family

This is how you eat a cheezel.

Breakfast.
Toast and avocado.

The old school fishing game with the never-ending annoying music which Elliot fancies a lot.

Found a new position to poop in discreet.

Should I worry about this?
I can't seem to keep him seated for long to do his colouring.
He finds more interest in fidgeting with crayons, arranging crayons and breaking crayons.

Cheap tea break set for two at Compasspoint.
Choice of tea/coffee included in the set.

Food to share!

Elliot quickly chiong for the cake.

Sucking on a tomato.

Elliot and my mom at her workplace.

Fell asleep on the sofa with his precious cars after a long day out.

The three bears in his bedroom.

Woke up and first thing he did was to rush out and play with his new toy.
Caught him pooping again.
What can I say.
Poop king.

SpongeBob, my buddy.

At Kids explorer.

Pool of rainbow balls

Playdoh time.

I rolled the playdoh into little balls and made him count.
He then stacked them up to look like something very wrong.

The playground at Changi Beach.

I nap like a boss.

Chill out at HMV.

Elliot playing on his new bed.

Finally made time to put up the wall decal we bought in Taipei.
Elliot's grow chart :)

The poor boy fell face down from his bed.
I swear I've never seen such a big baluku (bump) like this before anywhere.
Heart pain like mad. Thank God it wasn't serious.

Shopping for toy again and papa bought him a Spiderman.

Hello! I'm sleeping with Spiderman tonight.
I realised that sounds so gay after typing it out.

9 August: Happy birthday to my BIL!

Elliot loves birthdays. It makes him happy :)
He claps and sings to the birthday song tune whenever he sees a birthday celebration on TV, in books and magazines. And he loves sticking candles (upside down) in the cake too.

Happy 48th birthday Singapore!

His latest craze - SpongeBob and Patrick.

Count on me... Singapore!!!

Is Elliot ready for floor ball?

GW's favourite champion floor ball stick broke and he was super sad as he can never get the same replacement in Singapore. We went to a shop house near Kallang Leisure Park selling floor ball equipment. Their floor ball sticks are more costly than in Sweden. Elliot tagged along and he really made himself at home by sorting out the balls to their different colours while GW shopped in his "heaven".

The big kid and small kid had a little floor ball tournament when we got home.

Papa kept complaining when he had to get the trapped ball out of the sofa.
He was intending to get rid of the dining table too, for extra space during the game.
Too hard core already, I had to intervene and stop his "extreme times call for extreme measures" theory.

He doesn't know how to play it the proper way, he just enjoys messing around with the stick.
He gets a sense of satisfaction and laughs heartily whenever he managed to sweep the ball.

Elliot is hooked to the game and wants GW to play it with him everyday.
The father is super tempted to get his son a kid's size floor ball stick now.
