Sand playing after the rain

We planned for sand play last Saturday but it rained all day long.We hit the beach as soon as the rain stopped at 6pm. The sand was wet and soft after all that rain and it made digging an really easy task!

 

Elliot loves playing with sand but he hates laying his feet on them.

This is the first time he plays without his shoes on. He eventually got use to the funny feeling after tiptoeing around and looking quite silly for 10 minutes.

 

We must get him some more sandcastle stuff to add on to his boring collection.
