A brief meet up with Elliot's form teacher to collect his report book. She commented about Elliot being a quiet boy in class who loses focus easily and needs to improve his work habits. 总之 没什么好话啦
Elliot's definitely not the academically inclined boy. He needs to work twice as hard as his peers to understand new concepts and to learn his spelling. He did put in hardwork for this mid term, revising religiously and pushing himself on days when he wasn't too keen. However, it's not reflecting in his results. I hope I'm not overthinking, he's still a happy little boy but I did feel a little upset for him, like his efforts wasn't paid off.
Anyway, everything's over now and let's take a good break during the June holidays and work even harder next term!
