Day 2: Spending our Thai baht like fa-la-la-la

We woke up early at 8am to use the hotel gym as GW wanted to keep up with his fitness.
And here's our OOTD, finds it funny why I took OOTD since its just t-shirt and shorts everyday.
Our initial plan was to eat the famous sabx2 wanton mee which everyone was raving about, we made our trip there and was horrified at the sight of the super long queue!! At least 30 people lining up by the narrow roadside filled with busy traffic and people pushing carts. Gave up the idea and had breakfast at Starbucks at the next street. Feels so sucky to eat at Starbucks in Bangkok but we were really famished and didn't want to look elsewhere.

Lunch was at greyhound cafe, another highly recommended place by bloggers.
But I think the food so so only and quite expensive by Thai standard. But they do have very pretty drinks to make up for. Will go there for drinks only next time. Oh and the service was sad. No smile, no hello, no thank you, no talking from the waiter who was serving us.

Watched Insideous at Siam paragon.
The place is so grand and spacious.
Our VIP seating was perfect and the service, impeccable.

Some pasar malam street food which we couldn't resist.

Had bbq cockles, giant squid and coconut ice cream.

Our highlight of the trip.
The Red sky rooftop bar on the 55th floor of Centara grand hotel.

What a romantic place to have dinner...

The restaurant fifty five.

Took a welfie at the rooftop bar.

A lovely place to chill and enjoy the beautiful sunset of the bangkok skyline.

Japanese food for dinner.
The lobster sashimi we had was awesome!!!
Can still see the lobster moving its feelers while we savour it.

Assorted sushi and lobster miso soup.

We are going to tuck in!!!
Now I know where my extra 2kg came from liao.

Desserts at AfterYou cafe.
The shibuya honey toast is very addictive and we came back for it again on our last day.
