Elliot's 4th birthday party: To Infinity and Beyond

I'm so proud of my Toy Story themed dessert table!
It was done with a lot of planning to cut down on the costs, super easy to set up and yet still look presentable. Blue macarons, proudly baked by my sister after many failed attempts. Thanks sis!
OK, here's a quick list of things I did/ materials used for the above setup.

1) Backdrop was taped with many blue vanguard sheets and pasted with many clouds cut out from white paper. Yes, it's supposed to look like Andy's room wallpaper in the movie.
2) Toy Story plastic table cover (cannot remember price) and Buzz Light year cupcake stand ($5) got at super discount at Spotlight
3) Borrowed two tier plates from my sister
4) Bought 4 square plates from Daiso
5) And a white fleece blanket from long ago, taped on some black spots to make it look like cow prints. (Yay, no need to buy cow print cloth!)
6) Existing white round plates from the kitchen
7) Use boxes for elevation
8) Oh yah and I printed out some Toy Story characters, cut out and attached to toothpicks to use as decorative flags. Just anyhow stick them on the food!

2.5kg ice cream cake from Swensens, Sticky chewy chocolate and Cookies n cream.
Design was specially picked by Elliot.

We had mango crepe cake, portuguese egg tarts, eclairs, chicken pies, apple strudels, tiramisu, homemade macarons and longan jelly

Birthday boy needs to get ready now... Guests are coming.

First to arrive was his Grand-aunt Lydia

This was taken after the party as Leah missed out all the photo-taking fun because she was so tired and slept for so long! How can right? Korkor's birthday you know!!!
So I put them together again when the guests left and took a few photos for memory sake.

My dear little Buzz Lightyear and Jessie

Photo taking session with our fun loving guests!
Lenz and Aeed came as Woody and Jessie.
And the Lin sisters wore their DIY aliens heads.

With bobo, bomu and ah ma!

Grand-aunt as Ham, the piggybank. So cute, hahahha!!!
And our only family photo with Elliot that day, incomplete with Leah sleeping in the room (Haiz)

Super awesome group picture :) *Clap Clap*

Hazel and Weisiong, thank you so much for Toy Story Books.
I love reading it myself too. HAHAHHA!!!

Thank you everyone for joining us to celebrate Elliot's 4th birthday, the DIY home sewn costumes, the wonderful gifts which were specially picked out for the boy, birthday cards from farfaraway and also your generous angbaos. Elliot is so blessed and loved by all of you. I'm so looking forward to more kids birthday parties next year as the fourth generation prosper!
