HCMC cafe hopping

Xin chao~
So happy to be back at my favourite city, HCMC
Affordable accommodation, cheap grabcar, yummy food and plenty of beautiful cafes. We didn't have an itinerary because we just want to have a nua and relaxing trip.

Vom coffee has a roof top with Santorini vibes
Beware of scorching heat though.

Our must visit, Secret Garden.
Must order: Clam soup.

Cong Caphe
Many chains and we went to the Dong Khoi outlet since it's the nearest to Secret Garden.
Must order: Coconut coffee (iced)

It's cooling to sit outdoors in the evening.

Naked Sushi
Found this place in Google Maps that was walkable from our hotel.

Tan Dinh Church at night.

Had a drink at our hotel rooftop bar, SkyOne.

Their drinks was like $10 sgd

La Vela Hotel in district 3.
Hotel breakfast was very impressive.
But you really have to wake up early because breakfast ends at 9am.

Gym was very clean, and well equipped.
My hubby was in paradise.

Hotel Infinity pool.

Mad view

But very hot lah.

The view at about 5.50pm

Tu Phu Coffee

Love the decorations here, soaking in the ambience

But tell you first, no aircon ah!

Great for photos

Went to seek shelter in a mall because really too hot out there.
Saigon Centre.

That night we were lazy to find dinner and ate at the restaurant in our hotel.

Another day, another cafe!
Godmother.

Their brunch was so good but on pricey side.
Staff spoke fluent English.

Cafe Co Ba, which was located in the next building, level 2

Took a few pictures at their balcony and ran back indoors to hide.

Ben Thant Market.
Didn't get anything, actually shopee cheaper.
Cooled down with $1.50 coconut.

Little Hanoi Egg Cafe.

Reunification Palace.

The tank that ramped down the gates of the Palace

Coolest thing about the Palace was the bomb shelter built underground (B1) and it has a secret stairway that linked all the way to the President's office on Level 2.

Trung Nguyen Legend
Many outlets here, and they can be found at every corner we turned.

Last dinner.
At Bui Vien Street, also known as the Backpacker Street.
Cheap beers $1.10 sgd and deafening music but vibes so we had to come here.
