Day 5: Time to say good byeeeeee!

Checking out from our hotel room.
We truly enjoyed our 4 nights stay at Central Palace Hotel Saigon, it's location is away from all the partying that may be too noisy at night but yet walkable to main attractions.

Set off to have our Vietnamese drip coffee at Trung Nguyen Legend for breakfast.

Hahaha yup, we never get sick of banh mi and my Vietnamese iced milk coffee was sooòooo good.

He didn't quite like his drip black coffee though.
It tasted weird, he said.

Came back to Paris Baugette to get his coffee fix.

The pastries were surprising good!

Spam photos.

Ate at Pho24, ordered the small bowl to try.
We didn't want to have a big lunch since we are planning for afternoon tea.

They will serve you 1 big mountain of raw taugey to mix into your noodles.

Walked along Dong Khoi Street and saw a really beautiful cafe, KHANH CASA TEAHOUSE.

Their service is top notch, like the staff were so attentive and they will open the door for you whenever you need to visit the toilet till to the extend I become paisay to go.

But can't help it cuz I drank so much tea!

We ordered afternoon tea sets for two.
Costs around SGD $40, which is considered quite expensive in HCMC.

Come, let me show how to pose like a taitai enjoying her tea and smiling at nothing.

This gold teapot was the reason I came..
So pretty!!!

Rubbing hard for a genie to appear.

We then booked a grabcar to return to our hotel for our stored luggages. The staff came to us and asked for the carplate number so he could keep a look out and direct the car to us. So impressed by the service because it's just a cafe and not a hotel.

This concludes our 5D4N holiday in HCMC. I love how the GRAB here is so cheap, like SGD2+ can get us to places. We never have to fumble over the crazy notes nor fall into any taxi scams, which are very common here. We will surely be back again, to conquer more of their local food and wallet friendly cafe hopping sessions, or go for a day tour to the Mekong river and Cuchi tunnels! Tạm biệt Vietnam, till our next trip!
We are missing our kids back home so badly :(
