2013 - The Year of Snake

Gong xi fa cai everyone!

 

WOAH!!! This year's CNY is like super hectic for us - Fully packed schedule, practically rushing from house to house to distribute angbaos since now we have 2 sides of the families to visit. I swear we even forgot to put on shoes for Elliot at one time! Kinda missed those days when I can just kiao kar on people's sofa, watch CNY shows on TV and eat their CNY goodies. WAHAHHAA!!!

 

Anyways, not much pictures taken with my relatives and cousins (SOBS!) I really hope to have the family picture kind but we were often the first few to leave cuz we need to get to the next house before the day ends. Don't even have ANY picture with my cousins on my mother's side lor! SAD x 1000.

This was on the second day of CNY. Went over to my mum's place for lunch before we go ah ma house together. Grabbed my sister for a picture before she leaves for BF's house to bai nian. And can you believe it, this was the only picture for that day!!! We left ah ma's house early and rushed back home because we are expecting guests :)

 

GW's relatives came over to our place for dinner on the second day.

All thanks to my MIl who came over to help prepare the food, if not I DIE arh I tell you!!!!

Another good girl tied the knot

CNY is just around the corner. We're so excited to be back in Singapore to celebrate this festival with our beloved CNY goodies family and relatives :) and the crowd and queues at NTUC and GIANT is getting crazy as the date draws nearer. We were so smart to have stock up our CNY goodies way before CNY, but the bad part is.. I've almost finished them already! DIAO!

Yah how arh?!?!? FAT LIKE SAI. Can somebody get me some Reduze or PhaseOut like NOW???

My MIL came over and we baked pineapple tarts and kueh bangkit together. It was great fun though our kueh bangkit was a failure and turned out to become kueh bangkit rocks instead of the melt-in-da-mouth cookies.

If 2012 is the year of babies, then 2013 is surely the year of weddings. Here's the first one lined up for me (many more coming up), my dear polytechnic classmate Choilum has a new found status and I LOVE HER!!!
