Happy Birthday to our little Fatty!

Here's some pictures we took of Fatty and his birthday cake during his advance celebration on Saturday.
Initially we wanted to make a number 1 cake and decorate with a very cute 3D animal train we saw on ebay which cost like $20. But since Elliot is not going to eat the sugar figurines (I'm not eating them too) and it's gonna be a one-time thingy, getting the $20 sugar decorations seems not so practical. But if I don't have that animal train, it will not look like a animal cake liao right. Hmmm, how arh?

Cracked our brains and came up with a brilliant idea.

P/S: I didn't let him eat the cake cuz the ingredients that went into the cake are deadly!!! The tons of sugars and buttercream. Tsk tsk.. Later got people complain we feed our kid unhealthy food again.

After being the lead actress of my own action packed movie for 22 hours, a cute little fatty came to this world!

Elliot, approximately 30 minutes old.

We thank God for blessing us with our precious little boy! It's been an awesome privilege to able to watch him grow and to be there to witness the many milestones in his first year.

The valued memories of his first smile, his first tooth, his first crawl and his first step...
I will hold them close to my heart forever.

Elliot's big one is gonna be a simple and private affair.
Just papa, mama and baby spending some great time together!

And since his actual birthday falls on a Wednesday, we are going to celebrate it in advance over the weekend. So looking forward to it!

After some brainstorming, this is what's gonna happen... A beautiful day in the woods/park if the weather permits or we will just hide in Lekland, then home for cake and candle blowing.

Oh wait wait wait!!! Did I mention we are going to bake a cake for our little fatty? It's no easy feat okay, stress to the max since I possess absolutely zero talent at baking. But looking on the bright side, I'm seriously gifted at acting spastic, laughing very loudly and ... can't think of anymore at the moment.

GW said it doesn't have to taste good since it's only us eating, but it had to at least look good. True but diao~

And as a pre-birthday celebration, Elliot gets to eat his first happy meal!!!
