I'm addicted to you!

I've been playing Restaurant City in Facebook for the past 3 days and I must say it's pretty addictive :) Well, basically you own a restaurant and you use your earnings to buy stuff to decorate it. And since there's no way to set the prices on the menu, I named my restaurant the "$2 chicken rice" store!

FYI, everything was overpriced in this game so my decoration is minimal. I accidentally bought this signature board for $1000 because I tried to drag it to see if it matches my roof. Imagine how many plates of chicken rice I have to sell for that!

And when i saw my sister's extremely overdecorated chinese restaurant, i'm extremely jealous because I reckon she is extremely rich. When she asked me if it looks like a temple, I told her it looks extremely like a brothel and she can name it 青花楼 or something similar.

OK. Maybe I was too extreme about it.

And yes my patrons will have to walk pass the whole line of toilet bowls before they can eat. Cool right!

 

The fun part in this game is you can hire your friends to work for you. Wisley, Kersin and myself are the chefs, Ah wei is my waitress, and the one wearing cheongsam carrying a pail is my sister aka the toilet cleaner!

A typical day in the restaurant, eveyone's working hard but sorry no OT pay hor. And everytime i see the red cheongsam girl I got the urge to shout to her:

Oeiiiii what you doing!!?!? Why the toilet bowl tiok tart again!!?!?

Ohh.. Fishy fishee fishing day!

This weekend was quite different from other days. It's fishing day with other fellow fishermen fishing lovers because it's the HERRING SEASON. This is the time of the year when you can see swedes fishing everywhere with red pails full of herrings.

Don't know where to fish for herrings right? No worries, just head to the spot with the most swedish and you won't go wrong! The sun was bright and shining but the crazy wind can kill us.

This continues like 30 minutes and nothing happened at this supposedly hot fishing spot. Not even 1 herring in the ang moh's red pail as well. Someone mentioned herrings swim in vast schools so we shouldn't have missed them. What exactly went wrong eh?

I got impatient and started stirring my rod left and right in the waters.

AND I CAUGHT A HERRING! Cheapo rod can do wonders ok.

We then received news that Xavier and Guoming caught several fishes from another spot near BTH and we quickly packed up in a flash of lighting to join them.

TADAH! This pathetic ikan bilis was the only thing I caught there. However, I'm still super proud at least I did achieve something and don't you dare forget I'm the first person to hook up a herring hor (though it was purely an accident)

Remarks: I applied sunblock with SPH 50 before I left home but I having a pair of SUNGLASSES tan on my face now!

After seeing seline and sherin's family portrait taken by the professional, we were inspired to do one too.. BY OURSELVES OF COURSE! Today, arm with only a gorilla tripod stand and our laoyah digital camera, we set up our very own home studio in the living room. I also used GW's desktop lamp for more lighting as my living room is quite dim.


Did this right after a very fulfilling dinner at Shuwen's place, I looked very terok with no makeup nothing on. (whatever... just get over it)


The hardest part was to make sure xiaohua stay put for 10seconds because she kept wanting to run away. We grabbed her tight and the pictures turned out like these... with xiaohua looking totally traumatized!

UPDATES:
After looking at the pictures again, i thought i can improve them by:

1) Putting on make up and wearing nicer clothes
2) Getting a good backdrop( am thinking if i should use my curtains)
3) Learning how to hold xiaohua properly and pose
4) Buying a SLR camera
5) OH BOTHER! Just get it professionally done and save yourself the trouble from doing 1-4!!!

the yellow ferry that brought us all to ASPO

There's a free yellow ferry service to Aspo departing hourly from centrum. It's like you can bring your bicycles or drive your car into the ferry and after 20minutes... Voila! You find yourself at the pulau ubin of Karlskrona, a little island named Aspo.

When we drove pass a place full of super size cows.. we didn't know exactly what kind of cows are they, so we just called them 牛魔王

I know you can't tell but my legs were trembling in this picture. GW keep saying i'm standing too far away from them but i'm really scared ok. I was wearing red and this 牛魔王 eyes were following my every movement!!! And if these big fat cows were to charge at me, i believe these filmsy little barb wires wouldn't hold!

I don't know if i should say GW is very haolian or brave. He stood really close to the barb wires and it seems like this 牛魔王 is ready to attack him with the horns anytime. We got super gan chiong and scurried back to the car as fast as we could. Yes, call us cowards I don't care.

Ok I shall finish this post abruptly with a nice picture of me basking in the sun and trying to act chio. Please try to ignore my market slippers. Took this while waiting for the ferry to come and send us back to Karlskrona. Our saturday ended with super good ice cream, steamboat and a late night horror movie at my place.

And now I'm really excited with our next road trip to Denmark, Copenhagen. Tivoli here I come..come..come.. *imagine it getting fader and fader*

On the last day of our trip, Jeremy drove us all to a small little touristy dutch village at the outskirts - Zaanse Schans. They have cheese factory, wooden clogs museum, dutch clock museum and windmills that are still operating :)
