Our first CNY in Sweden

We had a CNY celebration with the full crew and their families. There's buffet spread, lou hei, quizzes and last but not least.... UTL's first gig ever!!!

小娘惹 hair craze

Just came back from the CNY dinner and post UTL celebration at Nivo! UTL rocks my socks off man! Then I did this 小娘惹 inspired , super messy version and the baluku-too-high-turn-out-look-like-a-nun hairstyle.

I really enjoyed watching 小娘惹, it's been a long while since mediacorp produced such a good drama. I like the Liu Yidao and Tao jie's acting, they were really good :) Yah, I think Yuzhu did a great job too. Especially the scenes she behaves like a lunatic. Really good. And throughout the show, I so wanna kill that useless man Huang Jin Cheng!!

Ok enough of ranting.

The problem with watching 小娘惹

I just watched 8 episodes of 小娘惹 and i tell you this show can REALLY MAKE YOU CRAVE FOR KUEHS LOR!


Wah this show will somehow helped benganwan solo earn money, i guess.

I want to eat ondeh ondeh, kueh lapis, kueh dar dar, kueh salat, ang ku kueh, chwee kueh, pun kueh, tutu kueh, soon kueh... basically anything with the word kueh inside lah. I wished I'm in Singapore now :(

Speaking of ang ku kuehs, Shuwen passed me some yesterday it was delicious :) I gobbled them up too quickly to realise I forgot to take pictures of the kuehs! Shuwen, make more please! Maybe can consider making green ones? Who says ang ku kueh must be ang right...

one more off my checklist

小花 has never seen snow all her life, so we bought a rabbit leash from the petshop yesterday and now we are all ready to bring her out for a snow walk :) It didn't snow alot here in Karlskrona, but somehow just enough to cover the grounds with a thin layer of ice kachang.

My camera battery died on me, so these are all the photos I have.

This is a video of 2 crazy women who shared the same dream - to roll on snow. We chose a nice slope and off we roll! GW took this video when we almost finished our adventurous act.

The snow roll got us all giddy. But that doesn't stop us from making snow angels!

Yeah, we shall do this again when there's more snow. I hope.

Winter Escape to Barcelona

I love Barcelona! I love their weather too! It's so cooling around 10-12 degrees. And I was kinda sad when I returned to karlskrona. It's so freezing COLD here! Sobs... Temperature plunged drastically to minus 11 degrees when we stepped out of the train. And we lighted some fireworks together with the gang later that night. The guys did everything, while the wives were just jumping around because it's really very cold until I cannot feel my fingers under my gloves.

Ok.. back to barcelona talk.

It's a beautiful city with colours and creativity. Initially we were worried about pickpockets and robbers. We did many security measures like keeping money in many different places, don't bring wallet, don't act like a dumb tourist, don't let strangers come too close to us etc etc...

I have almost 600 pictures from the trip and I don't think I am diligent enough to upload all of them to Blogger so I picked a handful and tadah.... Make it into a slideshow! The loading is faster as well.
